English <> Albanian VRI/OPI Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Macedonia.

📋 Description

• Professionally handle incoming calls, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific vocabulary used in the relevant industry, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages without adding, omitting, or substituting any information.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service while interpreting.

• Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and Clients by providing precise interpretations of messages.

• Implement established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show eagerness to obtain new professional certifications.

• Maintain communication and report to your team leader regularly.

• Adhere to dress code standards for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Albanian".

• At least 1 year of experience in over-the-phone interpretation with a reputable interpretation company.

• Solid understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is considered an advantage.

• Possession of international certifications in the healthcare sector is a plus (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and a strong tolerance for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
