Engineering Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Soliciting quotes from vendors and delivering a formal estimate for products and services.

• Generating item and part numbers within AHEAD Foundry’s intranet system.

• Developing and updating Engineering work instructions.

• Conducting performance/benchmark testing and other assigned tasks.

• Offering production support as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience in creating and managing product and service quotes.

• Proficiency in firmware, BIOS, and operating systems.

• 4 years of experience with both Linux and Windows Operating Systems.

• Experience with Linux scripting.

• 2 years of experience in assembling and integrating computer components into systems.

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional documentation abilities.

• Familiarity with the engineering change process.

• Demonstrated technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of quality control and computer assembly techniques.

• Basic knowledge of computer architecture and server hardware components.

• Proven experience in risk management.

• Proven experience in change management.
