Engineering Team Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Lead a team consisting of 3-5 Fullstack developers.

• Engage in writing and reviewing code, with an approximate 70/30 focus on management tasks.

• Ensure adherence to company processes and engineering standards by the team.

• Take ownership of feature delivery and ensure deadlines are met.

• Make informed technical decisions, design technical specifications for new features, and coordinate with adjacent teams and your manager.

• Oversee technical debt and manage the technical backlog for your team.

• Mentor and cultivate the skills of engineers; hold regular one-on-one meetings.

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new team members.

• Conduct performance evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• You are a seasoned Engineering Team Lead with over 10 years of experience in software development, including at least 2 years in a leadership role managing a team of 3–5 developers.

• You are a proactive leader capable of writing code, making informed technical choices, and thoughtfully designing systems.

• You possess strong people management abilities, including hiring, coaching, providing feedback, and resolving conflicts.

• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.

• You have at least 5 years of experience in product-driven companies utilizing our technology stack: TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis.

• Experience in fast-paced companies or startups is advantageous.

• Your English proficiency is at B2+ level: you can express yourself fluently and confidently engage in discussions on technical subjects.
