Engineering Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Enable your team by eliminating barriers and fostering an environment where engineers can concentrate on developing high-quality, impactful products.

• Take ownership of your team’s roadmap delivery, ensuring that projects are executed with reliability, performance, and accountability.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to establish priorities, outline initiatives, and guide technical and business impact decisions.

• Remain actively involved in architecture design, system design, coding, and technical decision-making to lead by example.

• Define and refine team processes, best practices, and execution rituals to ensure clarity and scalability.

• Elevate the engineering standard by encouraging the team to take ownership, step out of their comfort zones, and enhance knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 8 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years in building and leading high-performing engineering teams.

• Expertise in a server-side programming language, ideally Golang, along with a solid understanding of backend fundamentals (APIs, databases, caching, distributed architectures).

• Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure) or bare-metal infrastructure.

• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and business.

• Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional communication abilities.

• Autonomous, self-motivated mindset with a low-ego, team-oriented approach.
