Engineering Supervisor – Physical, Electrical, Substation Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Leading a team of engineers and designers in the design, development, installation, and maintenance of electrical substations.

• Responsible for the creation of substation design packages for clients throughout the United States.

• Prepare or oversee the preparation of cost estimates and timelines for physical design projects.

• Oversee the execution of physical design projects of varying sizes.

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to direct reports.

• Serve as the primary liaison for clients.

• Ensure adherence to all relevant industry standards and regulations.

• Perform quality reviews of work completed by direct reports.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in the design of electrical substations.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple physical design assignments.

• Experience in managing physical design projects.

• Capability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.

• Proven analytical and decision-making skills.

• Experience in creating and reviewing substation design drawings.

• Proficiency with current software applications utilized in substation design work.

• Ability to effectively work with team members located remotely.
