Engineering Manager – Observability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee and nurture the Alloy engineering team

• Assist the Alloy team in partnership with the OpenTelemetry collector community

• Collaborate with go-to-market teams to ensure customer success

• Guarantee that Alloy integrates effortlessly into the user experience of Grafana cloud products

• Offer guidance throughout all stages of the project lifecycle

• Cultivate a psychologically safe atmosphere conducive to learning and innovation

• Engage in projects beyond the immediate team scope

• Sufficient knowledge in the fields of observability and OpenTelemetry

• Comfortable collaborating with engineering teams that possess decision-making autonomy

• Informed about current technical trends

• Able to work effectively across different time zones and cultures

• Capable of managing complexity and aligning stakeholders

• Strongly customer-oriented

• Comprehensive understanding of distributed systems principles
