Engineering Manager – Ecommerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development, optimization, and operational management of enterprise websites and digital platforms.

• Develop and implement a digital technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives.

• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, security, and performance are maintained.

• Direct API architecture and service-layer integrations across various systems and third-party platforms.

• Promote the adoption of cloud-native and composable architecture practices.

• Assess and integrate emerging technologies and AI-driven capabilities.

• Collaborate with business teams to provide AI-enhanced personalization, search, and content experiences.

• Supervise AI/LLM integrations, governance, monitoring, and performance optimization.

• Manage agile delivery, release planning, and quality assurance processes effectively.

• Lead and mentor a team of developers through various projects and enhancements.

• Work closely with Marketing, UX, IT, Analytics, and Customer Experience teams.

• Coordinate with external vendors and partners for digital projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in web development and digital technology leadership.

• At least 5 years of experience managing development teams.

• Extensive knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Microsoft .NET, VB.NET, SQL Server, and Windows Server environments.

• Proven experience in building and managing enterprise websites and web applications.

• In-depth understanding of APIs, integrations, and contemporary web architecture.

• Familiarity with cloud-native systems and agile methodologies.

• Practical experience in integrating AI or LLM-based functionalities into digital platforms.

• Solid grasp of eCommerce, digital marketing, UX/UI, and conversion optimization principles.

• Knowledge of SEO, analytics, A/B testing, and website performance metrics.

• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication abilities.

• Capability to handle multiple projects and delivery timelines in dynamic environments.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
