Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend engineering, demonstrating strong fundamentals in developing reliable and scalable systems (experience with Go is an advantage).

• 2+ years of experience in a managerial engineering role, preferably within a dynamic fintech or e-commerce setting.

• Proven experience in creating scalable, distributed systems and managing high-load architectures.

• Strong knowledge of backend tools and technologies — our stack includes PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, GitLab, and a microservices architecture.

• Experience in integrating third-party APIs and contributing to product development initiatives.

• A strong enthusiasm for writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously.

• Excellent communication skills in English.
