Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Foster development among individuals, enhance collaboration across teams, and establish frameworks that empower engineers to excel.

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings (1:1s) and assist in career progression.

• Assess team dynamics and proactively manage conflicts.

• Lead discussions among teams and guarantee the smooth operation of essential engineering processes.

• Engage in cross-team initiatives and evaluate indicators of team well-being.

• Proven experience in engineering leadership roles with an emphasis on people management, having collaborated closely with contemporary engineering teams in rapidly expanding product organizations.

• Proficient in facilitating technical discussions and assessing engineering trade-offs.

• Knowledge of AI-native engineering methodologies.

• High emotional intelligence and the capability to offer honest, constructive feedback.

• Effective and proactive communication abilities.

• Comfortable working alongside various Tech Leads across multiple teams.
