Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee and engage in code reviews while sharing expertise

• Deliver AI-enhanced feature enhancements to production

• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to outline and design new functionalities

• Mentor and lead a team of engineers

• Involve in system architecture, software development, and product upkeep

• Manage a group of 3–5 engineers and refine team practices

• Direct the complete feature delivery process from design to deployment and ongoing support

• Influence the technical direction for AI-integrated product experiences

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and UX Designer

• Assess the value delivered and enhancements to patient and physician experiences

• Serve as a player-coach and actively contribute to feature shipping

• Ensure product alignment with business strategy and commercial objectives

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development

• More than 2 years of experience in team management

• Proven history of leading high-achieving teams that produce high-quality software projects

• Experience in developing APIs with contemporary backend technologies

• Capability to articulate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Passion for developing systems utilizing AI and large language models

• Position available for candidates in the US, Canada, and New Zealand

• Preferred but not mandatory: experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, AI/LLM systems, Python, MySQL, AWS or other cloud services, DevOps/observability, and US healthcare/health tech
