Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Lead the scaling of gold leaching technologies from laboratory to pilot and full-scale operations.

• Design and refine metallurgical flowsheets customized for various ore types.

• Manage partnerships with laboratories, engineering companies, and equipment suppliers.

• Supervise the creation of process diagrams, equipment inventories, and commissioning strategies.

• Direct on-site commissioning activities, ramp-up processes, and performance monitoring.

• Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations, including tailings and water management.

• Serve as the primary liaison among technical teams, project stakeholders, and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering.

• Over 15 years of experience in gold processing/metallurgy, with a focus on site-based roles and project execution.

• Demonstrated experience in scaling up at least two gold processing technologies (e.g., CIL/CIP, flotation, SART, BIOX/POX).

• Strong background in comminution, flotation, carbon management, and reagent strategies.

• Knowledge of HAZOP, LOPA, ICMI Cyanide Code, and GISTM/ICMM standards.
