This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Serve as the people manager for roughly 15–20 engineers distributed across 2–3 Scrum teams.
• Take responsibility for delivery outcomes across 2–3 Scrum teams within a release train.
• Own and enhance engineering practices and standards across four fundamental areas.
• Advocate for the responsible, human-in-the-loop utilization of AI tools in coding, testing, analysis, and documentation.
• Design team composition across 2–3 Scrum teams to maximize skills, experience, and resilience against attrition.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering roles (Developer, SDET, or similar).
• More than 3 years in a leadership role (Engineering Manager, Team Lead, or equivalent), ideally with experience leading multiple Agile teams.
• Strong comprehension of Agile/SAFe methodologies (Scrum, PI planning, ARTs, RTE, SM, PO roles).
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and refining engineering practices (coding standards, testing, CI/CD, documentation).
• Experience in managing risks and issues within complex, distributed programs, as well as leading and developing engineers across various locations.
• Exceptional communication skills in formal business English, with the ability to engage effectively across time zones and cultural contexts.
