Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a group of engineers and engineering leads across various teams.

• Supervise task management using JIRA.

• Propel the technical vision and roadmap forward.

• Champion best practices in software development.

• Ensure that platform components meet security, compliance, and scalability standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering.

• At least 5 years of experience as a backend engineer.

• Over 3 years in a senior leadership position overseeing multiple teams or squads.

• Demonstrated experience managing a team of around 15 engineers.

• Strong technical expertise in system architecture, data engineering, and infrastructure management.

• Proven capability in task management utilizing JIRA.

• In-depth understanding and application of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

• Ability to track and enhance team performance through key metrics/KPIs.

• Familiarity with scalable architecture patterns, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Practical experience with data pipeline technologies, APIs, and DevOps tools.
