Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Oversee several engineering teams within a specific product area, ensuring timely delivery, robust execution, and high engineering standards.

• Collaborate closely with Product Leaders, Architects, and stakeholders to ensure that technical choices and delivery strategies align with business objectives.

• Cultivate a culture that emphasizes ownership, accountability, teamwork, quality, and ongoing improvement across teams.

• Assist teams in crafting scalable and maintainable solutions while balancing the pace of delivery, technical debt, and the long-term viability of the product.

• Enhance engineering processes, boost delivery efficiency, increase operational maturity, and promote collaboration across teams.

• Encourage experimentation, rapid feedback loops, practical decision-making, and the adoption of contemporary engineering practices.

• Mentor and nurture engineers, supporting their career advancement, performance evaluations, and leadership growth.

• Engage in recruitment, organizational expansion, and resource allocation within the domain.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing software engineering teams.

• Solid software engineering foundation in .NET or JavaScript, with hands-on expertise in scalable distributed systems and cloud-based architectures.

• Demonstrated ability to drive project delivery, maintain engineering quality, and enhance organizational effectiveness.

• Strong grasp of contemporary software development methodologies, Agile delivery, and system architecture.

• Proficient in effective and clear communication.

• Experience working collaboratively with Product, Architecture, and cross-functional teams.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and people management capabilities.

• Background in mentoring engineering professionals.

• Capacity to make practical decisions and function efficiently in high-paced environments.

• Familiarity with AI-driven products or AI-enhanced engineering workflows is an advantage.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.
