This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Oversee various engineering teams within a specific product domain, ensuring reliable delivery, robust execution, and high standards of engineering.
• Collaborate closely with Product Leaders, Architects, and stakeholders to align technical choices and delivery strategies with business objectives.
• Cultivate a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, quality, and ongoing improvement among teams.
• Assist teams in creating scalable and maintainable solutions while balancing the pace of delivery, technical debt, and long-term product viability.
• Enhance engineering processes, improve delivery efficiency, operational maturity, and promote collaboration across teams.
• Encourage experimentation, rapid feedback loops, practical decision-making, and the adoption of contemporary engineering practices.
• Mentor and develop engineers, facilitating career advancement, performance management, and leadership growth.
• Engage in hiring, organizational scaling, and resource management across the domain.
• Proven experience in managing software engineering teams.
• Strong background in software engineering with expertise in .NET or JS, along with hands-on experience in scalable distributed systems and cloud architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to drive delivery, ensure engineering quality, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Solid understanding of modern software development methodologies, Agile delivery, and system design.
• Excellent communication skills, both effective and clear.
• Experience in collaborating with Product, Architecture, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management capabilities.
• Experience in mentoring engineering talent.
• Capacity to make pragmatic decisions and function effectively in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with AI-powered products or AI-assisted engineering workflows is advantageous.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.
