This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Lead a team comprising 4–6 engineers to develop Ledgy’s agent and developer platform.
• Establish the technical vision and foster an environment where engineers can excel in their roles.
• Take ownership of and enhance CI/CD build and deployment pipelines for improved speed, reliability, and workflows involving both human and AI agents.
• Oversee GCP infrastructure, Terraform configurations, monitoring, alerting, and service level objectives (SLOs).
• Collaborate with the CISO to formulate and implement Ledgy’s security strategy.
• Develop AI infrastructure and capabilities for the agent platform, which includes MCP interfaces, agent identity and access models, audit logging, dry-run environments, and sandboxes.
• Cultivate relationships with direct reports and assist in their career advancement.
• Drive quantifiable enhancements in pipeline reliability, deployment speeds, developer experience, and infrastructure dependability.
• Collaborate with the Head of Engineering and CTO to shape platform strategy.
• Conduct career development discussions and performance evaluations.
• Manage engineering initiatives that impact the organization’s software delivery processes.
• A strong vision for contemporary platform engineering that integrates AI agents in the writing, testing, and deployment of code alongside human developers.
• Extensive experience in CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure management.
• Proficient in observability, deployment automation, developer experience, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• A security-focused approach to platform engineering, particularly regarding AI-agent access to production systems and sensitive financial information.
• Proven capabilities in people development and engineering management.
• Practical experience with Terraform, pipeline debugging, and AI tools.
• Over 3 years of Engineering Management experience.
• More than 6 years of Software Engineering experience.
• Significant experience in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Tailwind CSS, tRPC, Node.js, MongoDB, Temporal, GCP, Terraform Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions.
• Successful completion of live coding and system design interview phases.
