Engineering Lead – MB-DMI Interoperability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Oversee the establishment of guidelines, conventions, and digital practices for machine-readable Model-Based Definition (MBD).

• Create enterprise standards and tools that support MBD and Model-Based Integration (MBI) efforts.

• Propel interoperability strategies with key partners.

• Guarantee consistent downstream utilization of MBD throughout Engineering, Operations, and Quality departments.

• Facilitate model-based inspection workflows, which include CMM/CAI tools and machine-readable Product Manufacturing Information (PMI).

• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to enhance the digital thread.

• Foster robust, validated, and repeatable model-centric processes that align with enterprise objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 12 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience.

• Over 7 years of leadership experience.

• Proficient in MBD authoring, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), PMI, and digital product specifications.

• Experience in model-based inspection workflows, including CMM/CAI tools and machine-readable PMI.

• Expertise in NX, Teamcenter, or similar CAD/PLM systems.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

• An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required from day one.
