Engineering Lead – Enterprise Software, Fintech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• In the role of Engineering Lead, you will manage the technical aspects of intricate software projects within an enterprise setting.

• You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, our founders, and our clients, guiding projects from their technical inception to successful completion.

• Your responsibilities will include taking on the technical oversight of challenging customer projects and ensuring their successful execution alongside customers, Product, and Engineering teams.

• You will prepare and facilitate technical workshops with customers and partners.

• You will address architecture, security, compliance, and integration challenges with various stakeholders and create robust, practical solutions.

• Your task will be to convert complex requirements into architectural decisions, technical concepts, and actionable tasks.

• You will proactively identify technical risks and devise pragmatic solutions.

• You will play an active role in backend, web, mobile, and integration solutions, personally supervising key implementations.

• Conducting code reviews will be part of your role to ensure continuous improvement of the technical quality of our platform.

• You will share technical oversight of our platform with the current Senior Engineer and actively exchange knowledge.

• You will document technical decisions clearly and communicate them transparently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or in a similar position.

• Proven experience in implementing complex B2B or enterprise software projects.

• Experience in conducting technical workshops with customers or external stakeholders.

• Ability to clearly communicate complex architecture, security, compliance, and integration issues and collaboratively develop viable solutions with various departments.

• Excellent German language skills (minimum C1) along with proficient English skills.

• A passion for taking responsibility and independently driving technical initiatives.

• A hands-on mentality — you not only discuss architecture but also implement it alongside the team.
