This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and deploy secure architectures across cloud platforms, incorporating zero-trust principles and identity-based access controls.
• Oversee threat detection, conduct vulnerability assessments, and perform penetration testing to proactively identify and address risks.
• Direct incident response efforts and utilize threat intelligence to detect, contain, and mitigate emerging cyber threats.
• Ensure adherence to international security standards, including ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, CIS, OWASP, SOC 2, and CSA.
• Continuously enhance Collibra’s security framework.
• Assist in internal and external security audits by supplying necessary documentation and evidence.
• Acquire a deep understanding of Collibra’s infrastructure, security architecture, and monitoring systems.
• Participate in threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management processes.
• Design and implement security automation or architectural enhancements that significantly bolster Collibra’s security stance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security, Security Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Robust understanding of CI/CD processes and infrastructure as code (IAC).
• Experience in securing cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Practical experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and incident response tools.
• Solid grasp of network and application security principles, identity and access management, and encryption methods.
• Familiarity with data analysis/data science concepts and tools, including SQL and Python.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent related experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience is mandatory.
• Must be a US citizen residing within the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position; candidates must not require visa sponsorship.
• Proven ability to utilize AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or Copilot effectively.
• Capability to convey security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
