Engineer – Production Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive production support for clinical applications across various programming languages utilizing a wide range of tools.

• Deliver outstanding services to CVS Health Clients through a committed team of advisors.

• Discover opportunities for ongoing enhancement of services offered to clients.

• Communicate updates and information to senior leadership.

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Track and report on the status of production-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production support within a large-scale and varied environment.

• Practical experience in providing AI solutions to automate and resolve production challenges.

• Hands-on expertise with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and their application.

• Proficient in Incident, Request, and Change Management processes.

• Experience in developing and troubleshooting .NET applications.

• Experience in developing and debugging with AngularJS, ASP.net, C#, or VB.net.

• Familiarity with Backend Web Services and Windows Services.

• Proficient in Version Control and Build Tools such as TFS.

• Experience with ActiveBatch or similar workload automation and enterprise job scheduling tools.

• ITIL qualified with deep knowledge of ITIL practices.

• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, including coding, systems analysis, testing, and operations.

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Familiarity with cloud service platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Preferred experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), Medicare, or Med D.
