Business Development Manager – Food Production Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Identify and assess potential new client partners and projects within the food manufacturing sector.

• Establish new client relationships while nurturing existing ones.

• Manage P&L responsibilities for capital execution projects within a portfolio of client accounts.

• Develop and deliver engaging presentations.

• Exhibit strategic decision-making abilities.

• Cultivate new client relationships and sustain ongoing ones.

• Willingness to travel on short notice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in food products (or related) capital project engineering or manufacturing.

• More than 7 years of experience in sales, account management, and client development.

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.

• Proven management of client relationships, both new and existing.

• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders.

• Proficient in contract negotiation, management, and administration.

• Solid account management expertise.

• Capability to conduct revenue projections.

• Experience working across a variety of food production clients, including brand owners, co-packers, private label, prepared meals, and commissary.

• A well-established network of connections within the food manufacturing industry.

• Familiarity with Engineering, Procure, and Construct (EPC) and/or Engineering-Led Design-Build project delivery methods.

• Ability to utilize social media platforms for business purposes.

• Experience with CRM platforms.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Expertise in managing capital projects portfolios.
