• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with team members, external partners, and client stakeholders to integrate quality considerations throughout every phase of the SDLC.
• Test Planning and Design: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and pertinent documentation that align with software specifications and user needs, ensuring comprehensive testing of features and functionalities.
• Bug Tracking and Resolution: Employ bug-tracking tools to document, prioritize, and monitor defects. Promote communication across teams to guarantee timely and effective resolution of issues.
• Quality Metrics and Standards: Develop and uphold standards and best practices. Monitor metrics to evaluate the quality of software throughout the SDLC.
• Automate Testing Processes: Aim to enhance test coverage, speed, and accuracy to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and recommend new QA tools, frameworks, and methodologies, fostering innovation and remaining current with industry trends and best practices.
• Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that testing protocols align with industry standards and regulatory requirements, preparing documentation for audit purposes.
• Performance and Security Testing: Execute and conduct performance and security testing in accordance with best practices and business requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent along with 3 years of development experience.
• Experience with Relational Databases (SQL preferred).
• Proficiency in API testing (Postman preferred).
• Familiarity with Cypress and/or JavaScript.
• Frontend development experience using frameworks such as Angular.
• Cloud experience (preferably AWS).
• Experience with TestRail.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.
• Knowledge of fully automated end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, from code commits to production deployment.
