This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Contribute to the design and development of tools that improve automation for deploying and managing CrowdStrike's cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain a production environment that is both stable and adaptable.
• Collaboratively brainstorm, define, and construct software solutions.
• Partner with internal business stakeholders and senior engineers to analyze requirements and develop robust, reliable solutions.
• Assist in architectural and automation strategies under the guidance of senior team members.
• Provide regular updates on the status of assigned projects.
• Introduce new technologies and techniques to the team.
• Create and support automation tools, dashboards, and alerts.
• Develop and integrate APIs.
• Design data schemas and write SQL queries.
• Create automated unit and acceptance tests.
• Develop and review code and systems with a strong emphasis on security.
• Utilize AI technologies to enhance decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
• U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status is required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in a production environment and application development with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in writing systems and applications for automation, tools, dashboards, and alerts using Go or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Familiarity with developing and integrating APIs utilizing REST, GraphQL, or SOAP.
• Knowledge in designing schemas and writing SQL queries for relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
• Basic understanding of common network management protocols and APIs like SNMP, RCMP+, or RedFish.
• Willingness to learn from and collaborate with senior engineers.
• Enthusiasm for exploring new systems and methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to make sound, timely decisions.
• Experience in writing automated unit and acceptance tests.
• A strong focus on security when developing or reviewing code and systems.
• Ability to work effectively and professionally with cross-functional teams as part of a global organization.
• Proven experience in leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and achieve business outcomes.
• Familiarity with container systems such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD systems like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
• Exposure to authentication and authorization systems.
• Exposure to tracing and metrics using OpenTracing and Prometheus.
• Exposure to large-scale bare-metal hardware environments.
