Engineer, Grundversorgung Process Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert knowledge on Germany's energy supply sector

• Provide guidance on Grundversorgung, customer lifecycle management, billing, market communication, supplier transitions, and regulatory compliance

• Convert intricate business processes into scalable operational and technical solutions

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams

• Assist in digital transformation, process automation, and modern utility platform initiatives

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluent German speaker

• Over 5 years of experience in the German energy sector

• Profound understanding of Grundversorgung and regulated utility processes

• Background in billing, customer operations, and market communication

• Capability to collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams

• In-depth knowledge of Germany’s energy supply market, especially in Grundversorgung, customer lifecycle processes, billing, market communication, supplier switching, and regulatory requirements

• Practical experience working with utilities, energy suppliers, or energy technology platforms

• Strong domain expertise and ability to engage stakeholders

• Experience in digital transformation, process automation, or modern utility platforms like Kraken is highly desirable

• Familiarity with GPKE, MaKo, WiM, and associated German market processes is a significant advantage

• Proficiency in Python/data analysis is a plus, but not mandatory
