This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Proactively brings the team together to achieve the shared objective of delivering the project as anticipated by the customer.
• Capable of communicating design challenges to both the customer and suppliers.
• Engages in clear, precise, and respectful communication with team members.
• Skilled in coordinating tasks with fellow engineers within the team.
• Develops and presents technical papers relevant to the industry.
• Familiar with the various business lines within the company.
• Proficient in organizing, planning, budgeting, and scheduling design and research initiatives.
• Experienced in performing wind and seismic analyses, along with related structural design tasks.
• Understands standard contract stipulations and scope as they pertain to the work.
• Knowledgeable about standard engineering work planning, scheduling, and cost estimation practices.
• 5+ years of experience in Engineering - Required.
• Knowledge of design and construction standards for prestressed and post-tensioned concrete.
• Proficient in using and managing Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Mathcad.
• Ability to independently develop models and execute analysis/design using software such as ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.
• Basic understanding of post-tensioning systems.
• Fundamental knowledge of repair and strengthening techniques.
• Understands the concepts of shoring and advanced load alteration design.
• Fosters a 24/7 Safety Culture and demonstrates a Safety 24/7 mindset in all circumstances.
• Maintains a high level of safety awareness in every situation.
• Sets a precedent for others by showcasing that safety is a fundamental value.
• Utilizes all Personal Protection Equipment mandated by safety regulations when on-site or in the shop.
