This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Build, evolve, and maintain data products and features that support statistical models and analytical applications.

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, whether batch or streaming.

• Engage in the modeling of analytical data, including bronze, silver, and gold layers.

• Ensure governance, quality, and observability of data products and features.

• Execute and enhance data movement processes between analytical and production environments.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Governance teams.

• Propose continuous improvements in data platforms, pipelines, and architecture.

• Develop reports and dashboards as needed.

• Ensure clear documentation and standardization of processes, datasets, and features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and analysis.

• Experience with distributed processing using Spark and platforms like Databricks.

• Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines with Airflow or similar tools.

• Familiarity with code versioning using Git and best practices in software engineering.

• Knowledge of CI/CD applied to data pipelines.

• Experience in analytical data modeling, dimensional models, data marts, and bronze/silver/gold layers.

• Experience in data testing and quality assurance, validation, and monitoring.

• Knowledge of cloud environments and data services, such as AWS, Azure, or equivalents.

• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and business audiences.

• Preferred: experience with feature platforms or feature stores.

• Preferred: understanding of Data Contracts and modern data governance.

• Preferred: experience with Kubernetes or distributed architecture.

• Preferred: experience with DataOps and/or data observability.

• Preferred: familiarity with concepts related to statistical models and machine learning.
