Engagement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic collaborator with agency stakeholders by cultivating transparent, trust-based relationships and assisting in defining ambitious yet attainable outcomes that align with real-world needs.

• Assist delivery teams in aligning execution with the mission, ensuring that goals are outcome-oriented, teams are appropriately sized and sustainable, and efforts remain focused on impact.

• Monitor and communicate engagement health and impact, synthesizing outcomes for internal reflection and external storytelling that informs, builds trust, and enhances accountability.

• Identify and address delivery risks proactively, collaborating across teams and partners to eliminate obstacles, adapt strategies, and maintain progress with creativity and tact.

• Enhance Mighty Acorn’s broader impact by assessing suitability, uncovering new opportunities, or facilitating connections to trusted partners when we are not the ideal fit.

• Promote a culture of responsible stewardship, ambition, and delivery throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in leading digital service delivery or transformation initiatives within a public sector environment.

• Strong expertise in program evaluation, stakeholder engagement, or delivery leadership.

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships across agencies, teams, and partners.

• Exceptional communicator, with experience in translating complex outcomes into understandable narratives.

• A systems thinker with a practical approach.

• Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and aligning the needs of diverse stakeholders.

• Capable of working efficiently, even under tight deadlines.

• Preference for transparency, along with the ability to communicate directly and honestly.

• Ability to adapt quickly and manage temporarily unclear situations as requirements evolve.

• This position requires work to be conducted from within the contiguous United States.

• Candidates must either possess active US citizenship or a green card and should have work authorization that does not require any current or future visa sponsorship from Mighty Acorn Digital.

• Candidates chosen for the role must successfully complete a criminal background check prior to their start date.

• Candidates must have a fast (>100Mbps) and reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace with background noise at an acceptable level for audio calls.
