Energy Project Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the execution of designated energy projects from their initiation to final delivery.

• Create and oversee integrated project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in T&I, Infrastructure, and Commercial sectors.

• Recognize, monitor, and mitigate project risks and challenges.

• Facilitate decision-making processes and escalate significant issues when necessary.

• Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including utilities and partners.

• Ensure coherence across technical, commercial, and scheduling requirements.

• Monitor and report on project performance, milestones, and associated risks.

• Assist in formulating project strategies and execution plans.

• Uphold rigorous documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in energy development, infrastructure delivery, or project management (PMP certification preferred).

• Proven experience with energy, utility, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Strong project management capabilities, including managing schedules, budgets, and risks.

• Competence in managing complex, cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Outstanding communication and organizational abilities.

• Understanding of the energy project lifecycle and its delivery challenges.

• Anticipate travel requirements of up to 20%, which may increase as the business develops.
