This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Oversee the technical execution of smaller projects or specific energy conservation measures that contribute to larger, more complex initiatives.
• Engage and collaborate with clients as well as other NORESCO team members, including Senior Project Engineers, Sales, Project Developers, Design Engineers, Construction Managers, and Measurement and Verification (M&V) staff.
• Represent NORESCO during customer site visits and conference calls as part of the engineering team.
• Perform energy audits, site assessments, ECM scope development, energy savings calculations, and create cost estimates for smaller federal, commercial, and institutional facilities.
• Examine utility bill data to assess customer energy performance metrics.
• Compose detailed descriptions of Energy Conservation Measures to be incorporated in proposal submissions and scopes of work for subcontractors.
• Assist in enhancing processes and tools for the development and analysis of technologies and services.
• Mentor and provide training support to junior engineering staff.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Energy or Sustainability Services sector.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
• Proficient in using building energy modeling software.
• Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team setting.
• Established history of developing technical solutions and managing projects.
• Advanced technical skills to comprehend and analyze a wide range of technical solutions.
• Excellent organizational, technical writing, and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
