This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess potential opportunities for energy savings and demand reduction, encompassing both operational adjustments and capital initiatives.

• Examine interval (15-minute/hourly) utility and sub-meter data to define load profiles, recognize demand charge factors, and identify anomalies.

• Implement MBCx workflows, including the establishment of baselines, ongoing performance monitoring, and verification of savings persistence; identify and present operational ECMs to facility stakeholders.

• Assist in the development and execution of campus metering systems (electricity, gas, steam, chilled water); create specifications and single-line diagrams; supervise meter commissioning and EMIS/DAS integration.

• Set up, deploy, and manage FDD rule sets within EMIS/analytics platforms; prioritize fault alerts and develop fault impact estimates to aid O&M decision-making.

• Measure and verify the performance of energy management programs over time.

• Produce clear technical reports and presentations that convert complex analytics into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.

• At least 3 years of experience in energy engineering, building performance analysis, or a related area.

• Possession of CEM, CMVP, or CCP certification.

• Previous experience in customer-facing roles or consulting.

• Practical experience in troubleshooting, retro-commissioning, or monitoring-based commissioning of HVAC systems and central cooling and heating plants.

• Familiarity with measurement and verification methods and protocols.

• Proficient understanding of BAS/BMS platforms.

• Experience in energy and data analysis, including:

• Data-driven modeling, interval meter data analysis, energy efficiency, and demand reduction opportunities for HVAC, cooling and heating plants, and distributed energy resources.

• Proficiency in advanced data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; high emotional intelligence; a solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
