Energy Efficiency Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Leading energy teams in the identification, evaluation, and execution of energy efficiency initiatives within commercial, industrial, and institutional settings.

• Collaborating with one or multiple clients.

• Assisting program participants in applying continuous improvement principles to energy management through group workshops and individual coaching.

⛳️ Requirements

• Eligible candidates must reside in California, with a strong preference for those in Central CA (Bay Area/Fresno) due to regular client travel requirements.

• Preferred experience in Continuous Improvement, change management, or Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

• Ability to motivate and coach plant/facility management and teams.

• Leading the formulation of comprehensive continuous improvement strategies.

• Conducting training workshops and onsite energy audits, as well as other personalized events.

• Evaluating the performance of industrial processes through monitoring tools and statistical analysis.

• Composing reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Performing site walk-throughs to uncover energy-saving opportunities.

• Crafting site improvement strategies.

• Utilizing MS Word to produce high-quality documentation that adheres to established styles, cross-referencing, and professional formatting standards.

• Developing visually appealing and well-organized presentations in MS PowerPoint, employing advanced design features for enhanced clarity and impact.

• Designing and customizing slide masters to maintain consistent branding and layout across all presentations.

• Showing proficiency with formulas and graphical data representation/interpretation in Excel.
