Mid-Level Grid Interconnection Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Preparing applications for new generator interconnections

• Evaluating ISO feasibility and system impact assessments

• Conducting independent studies of power systems

• Carrying out advanced grid system analyses for clients' generation initiatives

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

• Over 3 years of experience in power systems engineering

• Familiarity with power regions and ISOs/RTOs

• Experience in modeling inverter-based resources

• Proficiency in software applications such as PSS/E, PSLF, and/or PSCAD

• Experience in dynamic transient stability and advanced studies is advantageous

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Experience in drafting technical reports and proposals

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and guide team members

• Skills in project planning and leadership
