This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create measurement and verification (M&V) methodologies and data science models for the precise and transparent assessment of advanced grid services from distributed energy resource fleets.
• Develop production-quality code and prototype innovative data products.
• Utilize machine learning algorithms on energy IoT data.
• Convert extensive distributed energy datasets into actionable insights for electric utilities and various stakeholders in the energy sector.
• Work collaboratively with teams in Data Engineering, Client Success, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Market Development.
• Assist in enhancing models that evaluate control algorithms, performance assessments, and forecasting.
• Contribute to data management software systems.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
• Proficient in Python and the scientific stack (pandas, numpy, scipy).
• Skilled in SQL with a grasp of effective data modeling practices (basic ETL/ELT).
• Fundamental understanding of basic machine learning algorithms.
• Familiarity with Scikit-learn and TensorFlow.
• Capability to articulate results from large-scale data analyses to various audiences.
