📋 Description

• Predict the demand for natural gas.

• Create and oversee strategies for supply and storage procurement.

• Recommend modifications to the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control narratives when necessary to address emerging control deficiencies.

• Compile work papers and generate documents and reports for regulatory submissions, rate cases, and other compliance obligations.

• Assess capacity holdings.

• Conduct invoice reconciliations.

• Examine data discrepancies and suggest corrective measures.

• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Oversee third-party supply and transportation initiatives.

• Promote off-system sales transactions and programs.

• Administer the relevant LDC system in accordance with tariff provisions.

• Propose adjustments to tariff rules to enhance organizational efficiency, scalability, or economic competitiveness.

• Support strategic planning and long-term commercial opportunities aligned with business requirements.

• Advocate for process enhancements and efficiency gains.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in energy management, finance, accounting, energy technology, or a related discipline is mandatory.

• A minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of experience in natural gas logistics or energy trading is required.

• Strong conceptual knowledge of energy logistics, including pipelines, scheduling, contracting, forward pricing, index prices, constraints, supply points, and suppliers.

• An understanding of essential business drivers is necessary.

• Ability to address standard problems using acquired knowledge, experience, judgment, and established precedents.

• Familiarity with the business unit’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control narratives and the associated risks.

• Advanced comprehension of natural gas markets is essential.

• A keen attention to detail and a willingness to learn about energy management.

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel is required.

• Basic familiarity with MS Office Outlook and PowerPoint is necessary.

• Capability to convey complex information effectively in both verbal and written formats.

• Competence in understanding, interpreting, and ethically utilizing data is important.
