• Predict the demand for natural gas.
• Assist in developing short-term strategies for supply and storage procurement.
• Recommend modifications to the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control narratives as required to rectify control deficiencies.
• Prepare work papers and maintain documentation and reports for regulatory submissions, rate cases, and other reporting responsibilities.
• Assess capacity holdings.
• Conduct invoice reconciliations.
• Examine data discrepancies and suggest solutions.
• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the team with third-party supply and transportation programs.
• Foster off-system sales transactions and programs.
• Oversee the relevant LDC system in accordance with tariff regulations.
• Propose alterations to tariff rules to enhance the organization’s efficiency, scalability, or competitive edge.
• Advocate for process enhancements and efficiencies.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree in energy management, finance, accounting, energy technology, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• 0-2 years of experience in business administrative functions or related roles.
• Preferred experience in natural gas supply, energy, or analysis.
• Familiarity with business and management principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, modeling, and coordination of resources.
• Comprehension of the business unit’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control narratives and the associated risks they are intended to mitigate.
• Basic understanding of natural gas markets.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn about energy management.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
• Basic skills in MS Office Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Capability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
• Aptitude to convey complex information clearly in both verbal and written formats.
• Ability to effectively and ethically comprehend, interpret, and utilize data.
