Endocrinology Telemedicine Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct video and audio consultations with patients who need specialized assistance in managing their diabetes and/or weight.

• Oversee the care provided by non-physician clinicians through regular case review meetings.

• Assist patients utilizing various diabetes therapies, including oral medications, injectables, and insulin.

• Provide support for patients using diabetes technologies, such as pumps, continuous glucose monitors (CGM), connected pens, and applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree is mandatory.

• Must hold an active MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathy) license in at least one state.

• Board Certification is required.

• Active DEA license is necessary.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a clinical team.

• Strong proficiency in computer skills.

• Expertise in supporting patients with diabetes therapies, including oral medications, injectables, and insulin.

• Proficiency in assisting patients with diabetes technologies, such as pumps, CGM, connected pens, and applications.

• Familiarity with EMR platforms and medical billing processes.
