This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the formulation and implementation of AMP’s organics offtake strategy in collaboration with the Product team.

• Assess, validate commercially, and bring to market new end markets and pathways for recovered materials.

• Establish and nurture AMP’s network of organic partners with processors, converters, and technology developers within the bioeconomy, fuels, and materials sectors.

• Aid AMP General Managers in securing long-term offtake agreements for AMP-owned facilities.

• Deliver commercial analysis, pricing suggestions, contract assistance, partner development, and customer relationship management with End Market partners.

• Create and maintain commercial tools, frameworks, and pricing models to ensure consistent evaluation, negotiation, and decision-making concerning offtakes across both active and potential AMP-owned facilities.

• Counsel commercial originators on project-specific offtake strategies tailored to each project/proposal based on market context, material profile, and end market economics.

• Collaborate with Government Affairs and commercial originators to bolster end market development initiatives through targeted policy, stakeholder, and industry engagement.

• Facilitate the origination and execution of strategic partnerships with organic processors, advanced recyclers, petrochemical firms, and materials producers where AMP’s systems can function as integrated feedstock or offtake solutions.

• Propel the integration of future acquisitions by charting high-value revenue pathways and securing offtakes to unlock and optimize post-acquisition returns.

• Partner with Operations, Finance, and Engineering to align offtake goals with production capabilities, pricing assumptions, technical validation, and facility performance.

• Collaborate with Marketing & Commercial teams to create marketing materials that articulate AMP’s end-market strategy, value proposition, and commercialization initiatives to municipal and private customers.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of progressively responsible experience in organics processing, advanced recycling, recyclable commodities, renewable fuels, energy, or related sectors involving the commercialization of technically complex products or infrastructure.

• Proven experience in identifying, evaluating, and developing new strategic partnerships, commercial agreements, or value chains for industrial, environmental, energy, or materials-related products.

• Capability to convert technical, operational, and market details into clear commercial value propositions.

• Demonstrated ability to lead discussions with external partners and support negotiations through to completion.

• Comfort in working across various functions with technical, operational, financial, and commercial stakeholders.

• Background may originate from related industries where success hinges on structuring, pricing, and negotiating multi-stakeholder commercial agreements—such as advanced manufacturing, commodities, or project finance.

• Knowledge of offtake agreements, feedstock strategies, and project economics modeling.

• MBA or Master’s degree in environmental, technical, business, or a related field (preferred).
