This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.
• Offer guidance, support, and recommendations on various employee relations issues.
• Assist business leaders with employee disciplinary procedures, performance improvement plans, reviews of involuntary terminations, and other related advisories.
• Forge robust partnerships and collaborate closely with leaders across all levels, HR Business Partners, Legal, and other internal teams.
• Handle multiple cases concurrently, often for competing stakeholders, within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Act as an employee relations subject-matter expert, providing advice and direction to leaders.
• Evaluate employee relations trends and proactively pinpoint and escalate areas for improvement.
• Foster a positive and transparent employee relations atmosphere where employees feel at ease seeking assistance.
• Conduct less complex employee relations investigations as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources and/or Employee Relations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Direct experience in supporting business leaders with employee disciplinary actions, conduct/behavior issues, performance improvement plans, and involuntary terminations.
• Working familiarity with state and federal employment laws and strategies for union avoidance.
• Capability to communicate effectively across all employee levels (exempt, non-exempt, corporate, and field).
• Strong skills in coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
• Proven influencing abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and effective prioritization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Sound judgment and discretion in managing sensitive issues.
• Proficient in collecting, understanding, interpreting, and sharing data effectively.
• Ability to successfully work 100% remotely, with occasional travel primarily for meetings.
• Flexibility to take as much paid vacation as deemed appropriate in line with their responsibilities.
