This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Proactively develop new sales leads through qualified sales calls and meetings by establishing relationships with new agency partners, contributing to the achievement or surpassing of sales targets.
• Provide educational resources and consulting services for current captive clients and agency partners, as well as for potential captive clients and agency partners.
• Foster relationships with clients to understand their business needs, addressing any changes as necessary and delivering relevant documentation accordingly.
• Participate in all sales-related initiatives, promoting a transformative and positive attitude in support of agency changes and growth.
• Organize, attend, and engage in captive quarterly calls and member meetings.
• Act as the Captive Lead for group captive programs, serving as a liaison between agency partners, clients, and vendor partners.
• Collaborate closely with various departments within ICS to guide the strategic direction, insights, and vision for the captive.
• Maintain professional and consultative relationships with several committees within the captive.
• Mentor Captive Consultants and Business Development Coordinators to enhance their expertise and responsibilities.
• Ensure team accountability regarding commitments made to clients.
• Foster and nurture high-performing teams through encouragement and coaching, influencing others positively.
• Education: A college degree is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in employee benefits sales.
• Licensing: Must possess the appropriate state-specific Insurance Agent's License, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
• Skills & Technical Competencies: Demonstrated strong sales abilities with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals, excellent public speaking and written communication skills, and proficiency in advanced technology, including Salesforce.
