This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Act as the main point of contact for designated employee benefits clients, providing responsive and consultative service while fostering and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Lead and facilitate employee benefits renewals, which includes gathering census data, preparing renewal analyses, coordinating carrier quotes, and managing timelines effectively.
• Organize open enrollment activities, employee education sessions, and benefit administration to enhance both client and employee experiences.
• Collaborate with Producers, Benefit Consultants, carriers, and internal team members to provide tailored benefit solutions and seamless service delivery.
• Review client documents, proposals, contracts, and benefit materials to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare renewal analyses, contribution modeling, benchmarking, and claims reporting for both self-funded and fully insured clients.
• Manage carrier submissions, RFP processes, and internal workflows efficiently.
• Recognize opportunities to facilitate account growth, cross-sell additional services, and enhance client relationships.
• Maintain precise documentation, client records, and policy history within agency management and CRM systems.
• Address client inquiries regarding benefits, billing, claims, eligibility, and policy administration in a timely and professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to bolster operational efficiency, workflow management, and client retention initiatives.
• Keep abreast of employee benefits trends, compliance requirements, carrier updates, and industry best practices through continuous professional development.
• At least 3 years of experience in employee benefits account management, consulting, or a similar client service role is preferred.
• Life & Health insurance license is preferred, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of self-funding and captive models, or similar experience with alternative funding methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business, insurance, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and client deliverables in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
