Employability and Wellbeing Team Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Inspire, guide, and cultivate a team to meet performance, quality, and customer outcome objectives.

• Facilitate regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and team discussions to enhance engagement and professional growth.

• Ensure that contractual KPIs, compliance standards, and service benchmarks are consistently met.

• Effectively manage performance by recognizing achievements and addressing any areas of underperformance as necessary.

• Advocate for best practices, continuous improvement, and the delivery of high-quality services.

• Foster strong relationships with employers, partners, and key stakeholders to optimize opportunities and outcomes.

• Champion safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery.

• Assist the Regional Manager in establishing a culture centered around high performance and quality.

• Provide daily leadership, coaching, and performance management to Coaches and Specialists.

• Support the delivery of employment, skills, health, and wellbeing services throughout the South West.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading remote and geographically dispersed teams.

• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities, with evidence of enhancing team capability and performance.

• Experience in conducting performance assessments, caseload evaluations, and quality assurance processes.

• Background in a target-driven, performance-oriented environment.

• Familiarity with the employability, recruitment, or employment support sectors.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and other digital technologies.

• Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel across the region.

• Knowledge of motivational interviewing, strengths-based approaches, or solution-focused coaching (desirable).

• Understanding of the employability and/or recruitment industries (desirable).

• Ability to analyze performance data and leverage management information to drive improvements (desirable).

• Standard DBS check required.
