EMEA Business Development Manager – Bulk Elemental Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Drive the growth of high-potential markets for innovative technologies such as LALI-TOF-MS (Exum Massbox).

• Broaden the adoption of XRF/XRD beyond traditional sectors, including metals, cement, and mining.

• Spearhead market development efforts in adjacent fields such as Materials Science, Geosciences, and Academia.

• Contribute to the expansion of automation solutions within established markets.

• Identify new opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and convert market insights into effective go-to-market strategies.

• Cultivate and enhance strategic relationships with senior decision-makers to unlock new business prospects.

• Develop and implement targeted go-to-market strategies, integrating products, services, and software into customer-focused workflow solutions.

• Promote the adoption of new technologies in non-traditional and rapidly growing sectors.

• Collaborate closely with product management, applications, and commercial teams to define and carry out market strategies.

• Achieve lead generation and bookings targets on both a quarterly and annual basis.

• Serve as the representative of the Bulk Elemental Analysis business with internal stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree with over 6 years, or Bachelor’s degree with more than 8 years of experience in business development or commercial roles within scientific or technical sectors.

• Preferred educational background in Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Proven success in formulating and executing strategic growth plans and meeting revenue objectives.

• Strong grasp of customer workflows and industry trends in relevant market segments.

• Demonstrated capability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

• Robust business acumen, including the development of value propositions, pricing strategies, and financial analysis.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Willingness to travel internationally (30–40%).
