EMEA Application Technology Engineer – Flexible Laminates

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Deliver both pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance to clients, encompassing product solutions, technical demonstrations, and troubleshooting.

• Work in conjunction with sales teams to assess customer requirements, formulate technical solutions, and aid in the development of proposals and sales strategies.

• Support customers with integration, configuration, and optimization of products, ensuring the smooth implementation of Qnity™ solutions.

• Facilitate product training sessions for both customers and internal teams.

• Examine customer feedback and product performance metrics to pinpoint areas for enhancement and contribute to product development cycles.

• Create and sustain technical documentation, application notes, and white papers.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and competitive products.

• Engage in trade shows, conferences, and customer events as a technical specialist.

• Collaborate across functions with product management, manufacturing/operations, and quality teams. Provide support for customer audits, technical reviews, and escalations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in applications engineering, field application engineering, or a comparable technical support position within the electronics sector.

• Solid understanding of electronic components, circuits, and systems.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team in a dynamic environment.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and protocols is advantageous.

• Proficiency in English, German, and/or French.
