Email Marketing & Retention Manager – E-Commerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will take the lead in crafting retention strategies for various D2C e-commerce brands.

• You will establish email flows, campaigns, and automations using Klaviyo.

• You will analyze purchase behavior by cohort and utilize sequences for effective segmentation.

• You will assess additional retention channels and implement them, such as WhatsApp, SMS, and loyalty programs.

• You will create structures and processes for the retention function at EVOLVE.

• You will strategically leverage AI tools to enhance output quality and efficiency in the areas of email and retention.

• You will provide clients with expert advice on email performance, segmentation, and retention strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in D2C e-commerce, specifically in email marketing/CRM (preferably with Klaviyo).

• A strong affinity for numbers, with the ability to analyze data for optimizing campaigns and automations.

• Proficient in professionally evaluating email copy and briefing internal teams.

• Capable of building a function from the ground up, even in the absence of established structures.

• Clear and reliable communication skills, both with clients and internally.

• Experience in actively utilizing AI tools with concrete workflows, rather than superficially.

• Ideally, previous experience with WhatsApp marketing, subscription models, or loyalty programs is a plus.
