This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Design, construct, and enhance our primary Klaviyo flow library, including Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Win-Back, Sunset, and replenishment/cross-sell flows.
• Create flow logic incorporating triggers, conditional splits, time delays, smart sending, and exit conditions.
• Develop and manage segments based on engagement metrics, purchasing behavior, and anticipated lifetime value.
• Oversee list health by monitoring deliverability, implementing sunset policies, managing double opt-in processes, and ensuring signup form quality (including protection against bots and spam).
• Execute and validate tracking — including UTMs, conversion attribution, and event triggers from Shopify.
• Craft mobile-first, brand-aligned email templates using Klaviyo (both drag-and-drop functionality and custom HTML).
• Adapt Americanflat's brand guidelines into a cohesive and recognizable email design system, focusing on typography, color consistency, and product photography layouts.
• Create reusable modular components (hero images, product grids, social proof elements, footers) to expedite campaign launches without compromising quality.
• Ensure that every email is correctly rendered across all major email clients and devices (using Litmus/Email on Acid or similar testing methodologies).
• Manage the promotional campaign calendar, including weekly email sends, product launches, seasonal promotions, and significant events (such as Black Friday/Cyber Monday, holiday gifting, and spring refresh).
• Write or provide art direction for campaign copy that aligns with our brand voice — sophisticated, approachable, and never aggressive.
• Conduct an ongoing A/B testing program for subject lines, send times, content layouts, and offer presentations.
• Provide weekly performance reports covering revenue per recipient, the revenue mix between flows and campaigns, open/click/conversion rates, list growth, and deliverability, using this data to inform the following week's strategy.
• 2–4+ years of experience in email marketing for an e-commerce or DTC brand.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Klaviyo, including flows, segments, campaigns, and reporting (not merely sending from pre-built templates).
• Proven email design capabilities — a portfolio showcasing emails you have designed and launched (experience with Figma/Canva and the Klaviyo editor; HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus).
• Strong copywriting skills: ability to create compelling subject lines and body text that converts while avoiding a spammy tone.
• Proficiency in data analysis: you make informed decisions based on revenue per recipient and conversion rates, rather than solely on open rates, and possess a solid understanding of deliverability mechanics (sender reputation, engagement-based sending, list hygiene).
• Self-motivated: able to take a directive like "we need a win-back flow" and deliver a comprehensive strategy, designs, execution, and results.
• Familiarity with Shopify and its Klaviyo integration (events, catalog feeds, coupon codes).
• Knowledge of Direct Mail (PostPilot).
• Experience in the home goods, furniture, or décor sector.
