This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wyoming.

📋 Description

• Assist the instructional program by conducting asynchronous web conferencing sessions alongside synchronous instruction.

• Ensure timely completion of grading, creation of progress reports, and execution of parent conferences.

• Maintain regular communication with parents, students, and fellow educators to develop and refine Personal Learning Plans and schedules, assess scores, provide feedback on student assignments, recommend instructional strategies, monitor assignment completion, and guide special projects.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the entire K-12 curriculum while attaining in-depth knowledge of the specific grades for which you are responsible.

• Offer support to students and parents with alternative strategies and assist with daily assignments and projects.

• Regularly communicate with parents, students, and curriculum specialists using both computer and telephone.

• Keep student records and data current, including cumulative files, online student and family information, attendance records, and documentation of all student and parent interactions.

• Collaborate with team members and educational specialists to design alternative enrichment activities and modify student programs to enhance comprehension.

• Liaise with Parent Community Coordinators to propose social events and relevant field trips for students.

• Organize regional field trips and strive to incorporate these experiences into the curriculum.

• Create and implement virtual methods to foster and sustain a “school community.”

• Engage in the organization and administration of State Testing as directed.

• Participate in student recruitment sessions and other marketing initiatives that require teacher involvement.

• Review curriculum and formulate alternative approaches to lessons to improve student understanding, working directly with parents and students.

• Attend field trips and other community activities organized for families.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach Elementary in Wyoming, appropriate to grade level responsibilities.

• Possess strong technology skills.

• Exhibit excellent communication abilities, both oral and written.

• Display strong organizational skills and punctuality.

• Adopt a customer-focused approach.

• Maintain a high degree of flexibility.

• Demonstrate the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Have a proven track record as a team player.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for school and state testing events, which may include overnight travel.

• Ability to work remotely when necessary.

• Capacity to work some occasional evening hours to support certain families.

• Must reside within the state of Wyoming.
