Elementary School Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students on a daily basis.

• Offer targeted, personalized feedback utilizing a variety of methods.

• Tailor instruction according to student mastery levels.

• Monitor student progress and evaluate assignments submitted in the learning management system.

• Foster a welcoming classroom atmosphere.

• Analyze student data and implement strategies to enhance student achievement.

• Adhere to state and client-specific policies, procedures, and deadlines.

• Assist in-class facilitators with classroom management, curriculum, instruction, and basic virtual-classroom troubleshooting.

• Participate in monthly data analysis meetings and utilize student data to inform instructional decisions.

• Fulfill required teacher induction and annual training obligations.

• Develop or enhance course content using asynchronous and synchronous tools.

• Build positive relationships with families and engage proactively with stakeholders.

• Acquire additional state certifications as needed and maintain current certifications.

• Contribute to various projects as required.

• Show a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Active state teaching license.

• Must successfully pass the required background check.

• Ability to complete training within two weeks.

• Capacity to work independently, typically exceeding 40 hours per week.

• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-free home office environment.

• Open to regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers.

• Ability to adapt to change and ensure excellent student outcomes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms.

• Preferred residence in Georgia.

• Must possess GA certification.

• Experience with the targeted age group (desired).

• Experience assisting adults and children with technology use (desired).

• Experience teaching synchronously via Zoom or Newrow (desired).

• Familiarity with online learning platforms (desired).
