Elementary Math Interventionist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Assist LCA’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) by utilizing the Response to Intervention Framework (RTI)

• Oversee the push-in and pull-out support for instructional planning and/or adaptations of the instructional program based on the MTSS model

• Guide student learning following district policies and state regulations

• Develop and execute targeted strategies aimed at fostering intellectual, social, and physical development in all students designated for academic intervention

• Assess and analyze the effectiveness of specific MTSS strategies and interventions to enhance Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support levels

• Collaborate with regular and special education teachers to support the instructional programs

• Deliver intensive, evidence-based interventions for Tier 3 students

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification in the relevant subject area and grade level

• At least 5 years of full-time successful teaching experience in the specified subject matter and grade band

• Michigan Residency is required

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

• Customer-oriented approach

• High level of flexibility

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in technology, particularly with Microsoft Office products
