Electronic Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Provide service and support to current customers by addressing service inquiries.

• Execute Customer Support Programs and manage small project business.

• Employ strong troubleshooting capabilities to identify and rectify issues in malfunctioning equipment or software.

• Evaluate repair needs and offer suitable solutions to customers.

• Perform necessary repairs and replacements as required.

• May offer custom system integrations, detailed planning and execution of system upgrades, conduct systems audits and consultations, and/or manage and manipulate databases.

• Conduct all service calls in compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as the company's health and safety policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with other specialists to enhance skills in servicing existing customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

• 1-3 years of experience in servicing, integrating, and programming video, alarm, and access control systems.

• Experience with specific products is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Outstanding customer focus and ability to perform well under pressure.

• Strong technical skills and/or experience related to electronic security systems.

• Some programming knowledge and a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and seek solutions.

• Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

• Willingness to travel locally to job sites regularly.
