This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure the quality and precision of electrical installations for the project, which includes underground cabling, module-to-module wiring, combiner box terminations, and the DC collection system.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to provide drawings, conduct constructability and submittal reviews, and offer feedback, ensuring that materials, equipment, and workmanship meet the specifications and updates outlined in the contract documents.
• Work alongside the Site Manager and the owner’s Project Manager to review project schedules and updates.
• Oversee and guarantee the quality control of the work team.
• Manage interactions with relevant personnel regarding the connection of the project’s power grid to the existing transmission system.
• Attend project meetings and act as a liaison between engineers, contractors, and craft workers to ensure that the electrical components of the project align with the drawings and specifications.
• Foster and maintain a collaborative team environment within the project team.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with all site visitors, including customers and contractors.
• Efficiently assess logistics and provide suggestions for improvements.
• Review and monitor the contractor’s procurement of electrical resources, methods, staffing, look-ahead schedules, and coordination with other site activities.
• Collaborate with engineering staff to ensure that plans, specifications, submittals, and RFIs are accurately and promptly transmitted to subcontractors.
• Supervise the Safety, Quality, and Efficiency of contractors' work on each project.
• Ensure that subcontract crews provided by the owner have the necessary resources and support.
• A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Expertise in the installation, testing, acceptance, maintenance, and repair of DC and medium voltage cables.
• Familiarity with current injection, Hi-pot, capacitance discharge, contact resistance, Megger, TTR, Doble, and other cable and equipment testing methods.
• Possess a solid understanding of electrical drawings, sketches, and prints, including underground duct banks, trenching, manholes, vaults for collection systems, underground and pad-mounted transformer usage, and SCADA systems utilized in the power industry.
• A valid driver's license.
